Finishing Line Associate
Reports To: Supervisor-Production Planning

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
This entry level position is primarily responsible for assisting the Finishing Line Lead in the day-to- day operations of the Finishing Line Department by performing the following duties:
- Assists the Finishing Line Lead with the daily execution of the Finishing Line production.
- Pulls product to be used in assembly of a Finished Good
- Cover for Finishing Line Lead as needed due to sickness, vacation or other situations
- Assist in setting up the High-Pressure Low Volume (HPLV) system (coating line).
- Monitor efficiency of production assembly
- Reports any quality concerns on products as assembly occurs
- Report daily production numbers to Finishing Line Lead
- Assist with inventory reporting as production is completed
- Cut and Label turret bundles.
- Assists with monthly inventory.
- Maintains a safe and highly organized work area.
- Performs other duties as assigned by Finishing Line Lead and/or member of Management.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and simple correspondence.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Self-motivated individual.
Fluency in Spanish helpful, but not required.
SPECIALIZED EQUIPMENT:
Forklift: move pallets of production / inventory as needed.
Electric Pallet Jack: move pallets of production / inventory as needed.
HPLV (high pressure, low volume) Spray System (Coating Line): administers spray application within department production.
Bandsaw: cut shingles for turret production.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Spreadsheet Software (Excel); and Word Processing Software (Word).
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and use their hands. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.
The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions; extreme cold and extreme heat.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
