Job Description


I- Customer Service Representative (CSR) promotes an environment that creates opportunities for business units to sell products. In addition, the CSR develops and maintains consultative relationships with customers and prospects in the Westlake Royal Windows Products business unit segments, Distributors, Custom Home Builders, Regional and Local Production Builders and Multi-Family Builders. The CSR must develop a thorough understanding of the needs of these segments and respond quickly to customer needs and questions.


· Comply with Company Safety Policies and Procedures

· Sell company products and services to achieve targets/quotas

· Makes outbound lead follow up calls to potential and existing customers by telephone and email to qualify leads and sell products and services

· Handles inbound sales lead calls to convert calls into sales

· Provides product samples

· Works with outside sales representatives to keep account activities current

· Provide technical advice to current and potential customers

· Establishes and maintain positive customer relations

· Regular attendance, timeliness and scheduling flexibility


· Strong computer literacy: Microsoft Office required; ERP knowledge desired

· Must be an excellent negotiator and promoter

· Strong organizational skills required

· Strong communication skills written and verbal

· Demonstrate technical aptitude

· Demonstrate math, estimating, and analytical aptitude

· Problem solving and decision-making capability


The employee should have the following:

· High School Diploma or equivalent and training or certification in relevant skill or trade

· 1 - 2 years' experience in a relevant field


The employee should possess the ability to:

· Be exposed to sounds or noise levels that maybe uncomfortable

· Withstand exposure to temperature extremes inside or out

· Prolong standing or in stationary position

· Complete repetitive movements

· Bend and/or twist

· Lift/move/transport items up to 50 pounds

· Ability to move or traverse about the facilities

· Ability to work around dust, chemicals, and other substances, and in various environmental conditions

· Wear all required personal protective equipment (hearing, vision and hardhat protection)
