MM Analyst - Procurement (contract)
Job Description
SUMMARY
This MM Analyst - Procurement role will be responsible for managing assignments related to multiple projects and daily operations tasks with in the Procurement organization. One key area of focus will be supporting the procurement team during an SAP ERP migration project.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
May include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Operational Excellence
- Measure and report the procurement team’s performance against key management metrics.
- Manage systems and process for metric collection and management.
- Prepare monthly reports for the Department.
- Provide regular performance updates to management, along with recommendations for management action, if appropriate.
- Facilitate procurement organization review cycles with North America Procurement staff
- Procurement Projects
- Extract and analysis large amounts of ERP data across several business functions, procurement, finance, accounting, warehouse, etc.
- Review and update Procurement contract metadata.
- Organizes, analyzes, and facilitates IT system changes.
- Other projects as required.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- B.S. in Business, Technical or related field, or progressive experience in procurement acceptable to management. Master’s degree in Business is beneficial.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in Procurement manufacturing industries or progressive experience acceptable to management.
- Strong knowledge of the end-to-end procurement process and supporting Software systems
- Experience in leading transformational program or enterprise wide change initiatives
- Strong written & verbal communication skills, as well as effective presentation skills.
- Strong Computer literacy skills required with working knowledge of Microsoft Power BI, Word, Outlook, Excel, SharePoint and access or similar data bases.
- Strong analytical skills and SAP experience is required.
- Experience with SAP material and vendor master.
- Knowledgeable in SAP Fiori, SAP MDG, Microsoft AX, SQL and JDE is a plus.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to touch, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate as normally based in an office. Some of the work may be required in the operating units which can require usage of required PPE including safety glasses, hearing protection, etc. May also result in exposure to outside elements and may require usage of stairs and elevators. Travel including air travel or auto travel may occasionally be required.
