Job Description


This position will place the upmost importance on working safely and always maintaining a safe and orderly work environment for self and other. 


  • Comply with Westlake Safety Policies and Procedures 
  • Regular attendance, timeliness and scheduling flexibility 
  • Will perform general housekeeping duties to help maintain a clean and safe work area, especially raw material area. 
  • Conduct Cycle Count inventory processes to ensure accuracy and timely execution 
  • Process Material/Pallet returns, by offloading  
  • Schedule categories for Cycle Count inventory and maintain strict records 
  • Notify management of shortages or other problems that could impact product availability 
  • Will be responsible for the packaging of sample orders 
  • Weekly Restocking trailer  
  • Will be responsible for documenting daily production reports 
  • Process GRs opening and closing  
  • Daily Production -verify the production count  
  • Work quality to make sure raw materials are appropriately received  


  •  Communicate effectively and tactfully with customers, managers and other levels of personnel, in person and on the telephone. 
  • Pay close attention to detail. 
  • Organize and schedule work effectively. 
  • Work well under time constraint. 
  • Handle multiple tasks. 
  • Work in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Handle confidential information. 


  • High School Degree or GED required  
  • 1-2 Years similar experience  


The employee should possess the ability to: 

  • Be exposed to sounds or noise levels that maybe uncomfortable 
  • Withstand exposure to temperature extremes inside or out  
  • Prolong standing or in stationary position  
  • Complete repetitive movements 
  • Bend and/or twist  
  • Lift/move/transport items up to 50 pounds 
  • Ability to move or traverse about the facilities 
  • Ability to work around dust, chemicals, and other substances, and in various environmental conditions 
  • Wear all required personal protective equipment (hearing, vision and hardhat protection)
