Job Description
Position Summary
The Systems & Pricing Analyst provides key technical and pricing support across multiple departments including Sales, Finance, Customer Service, and IT. This hybrid role supports ERP system pricing, process documentation, and system troubleshooting while maintaining and auditing pricing structures and analyzing financial impact. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and brings a blend of technical systems knowledge, pricing strategy, and cross-functional communication.
Key Responsibilities
Pricing & ERP Management
- Set up and maintain pricing structures within ERP and bolt-on applications
- Manage and update price books; support company-wide pricing initiatives
- Conduct audits and gross margin analysis on new and existing customer accounts
- Design, program, and implement special pricing deals; evaluate financial impact
- Resolve pricing disputes and deductions; communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders
Systems & Process Support
- Troubleshoot end-user system issues; diagnose IT-related or process-based problems
- Work cross-functionally with IT, software vendors, and business units on software enhancements and upgrades
- Maintain documentation of key business processes and SOPs
- Coordinate training sessions for users on systems and pricing processes
- Support internal system security and manage user access (e.g., Fenevision WEB)
Cross-Departmental Collaboration
- Interface with Sales, Finance, Engineering, Accounting, and Customer Service to support operational efficiency
- Participate in and lead cross-functional projects related to pricing, systems, and business analysis
- Liaise with internal/external auditors to support SOX compliance
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field preferred
- 3-5 years’ experience in pricing analysis, ERP systems support, or business operations
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required; JDE or similar ERP experience preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- High attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
- Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
- May involve exposure to temperature extremes, noise, and industrial environments
- Occasional travel (up to 30%) may be required
- Must wear PPE as needed when visiting operational units
