Video Editing Intern

Video Editing Intern will help in creating high-quality Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) in which videos to be a part of.  The SOPs will be used during the training process of Westlake employees. They should be able to use their skills to help create informative, easy-to-understand and visually appealing SOPs, including videos. The intern position will work directly with the Training Assistant on development and presentation of content.  The Video Editing Intern will use Microsoft Office and video editing software tools to produce the final product.


May include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Be available 40 hours/per week (Monday through Friday) during time off of school, and an agreed upon schedule during the months school is in session.  Typical daily schedule:  7am-4pm.
  • Desired computer skills:  Microsoft Office and Video Editing Software (example: Wondershare Filmora). 
  • Aid in development of Standard Operating Procedures (verbiage, picture, and video) related to Safety, Quality, Waste and Production.
  • Ability to work with others, including hourly staff, supervision, and office staff.
  • Required PPE:  Eye and ear protection, safety shoes, possible:  bump cap, protective sleeves and gloves.
  • Transportation required.


  • Currently in process and working toward an Associates or Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Production Management, Marketing, or Health and Safety preferred.


  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized.
  • Highly motivated to produce exceptional work.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and meet required deadlines.
